Catching up..

Here's yesterdays outfit-this is the first time I have worn this "caplet" that I made.

Next one, I need to make larger, but this is how I learn when I made up patterns.

And here I am today.

This dress was to the floor, and oatmeal.

Nope, I had to dye it and cut it off!

Its so nice and warm and cozy, plus

I couldnt resist showing off one of my lovely vintage slips!

 I love these boots, they remind me of "hippie" boots that I never had growing up.

New dress :)

Got this dress at "Thrift Town" in Sacramento, with my sister on our way home from Bakersfield.

( yep an 11 hour drive) I think the dress was $2.99..such a deal. 

After wearing it today, I need to do a few alterations, too flared at the bottom. 

But otherwise, I loved with my favorite boots and ever faithful denim jacket.

Sorry for such a  face, it was a very long day, and I am still recovering from last week.

And....I have a bit of a cold..

Catching up

Just trying to catch up from last week.

I admit, it was a tough one.

I continued the week out with patterned tights.

(I can see I will looking for more, I love how they add texture and 

interest to an outfit)

And yesterday, Fall was here.

My first wearing of my boots.

I am sitting here and can hear the wind whistling.
